CNNC 23 and CNNC Uranium Hold Talks to Deepen Industrial Chain Synergy
Recently, Xing Yongguo, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of China Nuclear Uranium Co., Ltd., and his delegation visited China Nuclear Industry 23 Construction Co., Ltd. and held a working exchange with Qu Qiang, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of CNNC 23. The two sides focused their discussions on the construction of relevant projects and subsequent deep synergy.

It is understood that CNNC Uranium, as the national team for natural uranium resource development in China, bears the core strategic mission of serving as the “cornerstone of nuclear strength and granary of nuclear power.” The two sides have natural complementary advantages in fields such as natural uranium mine engineering construction and nuclear facility decommissioning and remediation. By further broadening the dimensions of cooperation and leveraging sophisticated nuclear engineering construction capabilities, they will powerfully advance the high-quality implementation of relevant major infrastructure projects.
During this meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the current construction progress, on-site advancement status, and specific difficulties faced by the relevant projects, and clarified the core work milestones and coordinated advancement plans for the next stage. CNNC 23 stated that it will attach great importance to upstream and downstream synergy with CNNC Uranium along the industrial chain, and ensure the implementation of major national natural uranium resource tasks through high-quality project delivery.
This working exchange marks the deep integration of front-end development and back-end construction forces in China's nuclear energy industrial chain. By strengthening closed-loop synergy between resource development and engineering construction, the two sides will jointly enhance the efficiency of natural uranium mine construction and the level of decommissioning and remediation, laying a solid foundation for safeguarding the security of China's self-controllable natural uranium supply chain and the high-quality development of the nuclear industry.
