On the morning of September 5, the first concrete pour for the nuclear island of Unit 2 at CGN's Shandong Zhaoyuan Nuclear Power Project was initiated, marking the official commencement of main construction for this unit and the entry of the project's Phase I into full-scale construction. According to reports, the concrete pouring for Unit 2, which commenced construction this time, totals approximately 8,800 cubic meters, equivalent to the volume of 3.5 standard swimming pools.
